In December of 1993 the Katy West Houston Aggie Moms’ Club was chartered into the Federation of Texas A&M University Mothers’ Clubs. During the installation and chartering ceremony a maroon rose was given to each of the new officers. With that gift of a rose, a tradition was born. Since that time, each incoming officer of Katy West Houston Aggie Moms’ Club has been presented with a maroon rose to indicate her new status and dedication as an Aggie Mom Club Officer.
